Here's the original song from which I decided to teach a little part to my two 1st year classes. I think it's lovely and I hope the mother's enjoyed listening to their kids singing it.

Aqui está a canção original da qual eu retirei uma pequena parte para ensinar às turmas do 1º ano. Eu considero a canção maravilhosa e espero que as mães tenham gostado de ouvir os filhos a cantá-la. :)

As 1st graders are learning about pets, this week song is an adaption of the well known song "Who let the dogs out?" by Baha men.
The lyrics of the song I taught 1ºC yesterday and I will taught 1ºB next week is the  following:

Aqui fica a canção que os primeiros anos aprenderam esta semana,seria bom se os pais ensaiassem com as crianças ou apenas os deixassem ouvir a canção algumas vezes.:)

"Family finger" song 1ºB

Hello!
A teacher tinha dito que ia colocar aqui o video dos alunos a cantar a song "Family finger", no entanto não a coloquei por uma razão: eu queria apenas filmar os fantoches de dedo e não as crianças pois hoje em dia, como sabem é necessária uma autorização dos pais para publicar imagens das crianças.O que aconteceu, é que quando revi o filme percebi que aparecia uma ou duas carinha lindas no dito filme, então optei por não publicar. Vou tentar filmar de novo, desta vez sem imagens das crianças.
Caso haja pais interessados em que faça e publique os videos com as imagens das crianças digam-me e eu criarei um documento de pedido de autorização e estando todos de acordo, mudo a estratégia.

Mr Turkey - 1ºB

Thanksgiving é já para a semana (Thursday,24th November) e já começamos a trabalhar nesta festividade com o 1ºB.

Hoje mesmo conciliamos o tema "body" com a festividade Thanksgiving e depois de ouvirem a história deste dia, os alunos coloriram os pilgrims e os native americans de acordo com as instruções da teacher(exemplo: Colour the native american's arms light brown, colour the pilgrim's head light pink...etc)

Depois aprenderam uma nova canção, chama-se "Mr Turkey" e é assim:

Por esta altura já devem ter compreendido que estou a leccionar o famoso conto de Robert Southey " Goldilocks and the three bears"(Caracolinhos de ouro e os três ursos).Foi mote para rever a descrição física e para iniciar o tema feelings/sentimentos. Como primeiro trabalho os alunos começaram a fazer a descrição das personagens, o que vão terminar na próxima aula.
